Yes! Martial Arts offer a host of benefits for people with ADHD. Apart from offering them the physical benefits of exercise, it provides structure, improves cardiovascular health, gives them better strength and flexibility, and most importantly, the body’s natural release of endorphins during physical activity can improve mood and reduce ADHD symptoms such as impulsiveness and hyperactivity.

Children suffering from ADHD usually suffer from low self-esteem and self-confidence too. The multiple benefits that derive from Martial Arts exercises boost self-confidence and self-esteem, which in turn translates to improved behavior and grades.
No, we find that people start at varying fitness levels. If however, you have a physical ailment that concerns you, we encourage you to speak with your physician before joining class. Generally speaking, you will find that your fitness will improve and isn't that the point? A fun workout that gets results!
Truthfully, the journey to Black Belt is an individual one. Everyone can progress at a different pace. There is no judgment on students for how long it does take. What we can tell you, is that it is WORTHWHILE!

The self-defense skills you will master can truly be life-saving! However, the other benefits of striving for a Black Belt, like perseverance, never giving up, commitment and self-discipline lead to lifelong success.
Everyone signing up for a trial or membership will get a free uniform. It is ideal to wear your uniform to each class but we understand they don't always get washed on time. As an alternative, it is acceptable to wear black sweats or your uniform bottoms, white or black T-shirt (tucked in), and belt.

Bring your water bottle too.
People come to us of all fitness levels. We get natural-born athletes, and we get people who have a harder time with athletic endeavors. However, everyone gets the same focus and attention.
